Roy Keane sends fiery message to Man Utd's Alejandro Garnacho with 'f**king idiot' claim

has urged to ignore the "f**king idiots" attempting to shoot him down after the Manchester United winger refused to celebrate his latest goal. Garnacho concluded United's scoring in Sunday's 3-0 win against with a glorious strike but produced a reserved reaction.

After full-time, Bruno Fernandes admitted that the 20-year-old had been affected by a run-in with an individual claiming to be a fan outside Old Trafford before kick-off.

In a video that surfaced on social media, Garnacho bit back after the supposed supporter told him to improve certain aspects of his game outside the tunnel.

Fernandes claimed the United No. 17 believed the fanbase had lost faith in him and, therefore, felt he couldn't celebrate his long-range curler.

But Keane has shown Garnacho some tough love on Thursday's episode of , insisting that he must celebrate scoring goals in a passionate rant.

"Can I tell you something? We know these younger players suffer, but if you can't celebrate a goal, there's something drastically wrong in this game," Keane said.

"Whatever has gone wrong off the pitch for any player, it could be family stuff... If you score a goal, you work all week... When you get a corner, you don't celebrate, [but] you're playing the game to score a goal.

"And if you can't celebrate... Still celebrate! You've just scored for Man United! No criticism should ever stop you from celebrating a goal, man.

"He's just scored a brilliant goal. That's what should be in your head. It should be, 'This is it! This is the greatest!'"

Ian Wright stepped in to defend Garnacho's decision, reminding him that a player of his age can be impacted by harsh criticism.

But Keane doubled down on his stance, urging the Argentina international to change his profession if he can't handle external adversity.

"Don't listen to that idiot! There's idiots everywhere. There are f**king idiots everywhere," Keane added.

"But my point is, when you score a goal, that's gone. If he's going to be upset with that, get a different job."

He continued: "When you score a goal, Wrighty, there should be nothing else on your mind.

"Listen, you're playing a game to score goals, you've got fans who have travelled and paid fortunes to get there, and he's on about 'someone's had a go at me.'

"You've scored a brilliant goal, enjoy it. Yeah, you can get upset with people, and he can make his point on social media but celebrate a goal. That's what the fans travel for.

"People make sacrifices to watch Man United. He scores a brilliant goal [and] United are having a tough time.

"If you can't celebrate scoring a goal for Man United, do you know what he should do? Get a job somewhere else. If he's working in a factory, someone will give him stick in a factory."
