A schoolboy has saved his sister's life after she became unconscious after using a water slide abroad.
Hari Gray, 12, turned his sister Eden, ten, over after she flew into the air, and was left unconscious, upside down in the water while they were on holiday in Antalya, Turkey.
Their mum Kelly, 40, says Hari has never had any first aid training but she's "very proud" of him for saving Eden's life.
She said: "I don't know how he knew to do it.
He just turned around, went over to her and rolled her over.
"He was as calm as anything.
"I'm very proud, we are very proud of him for this."
The family were near the end of their ten-day stay at The Grand Kaptan Hotel Alanya when the incident happened.
Kelly, a mum-of-three, says she watched Eden become unconscious after going down the slide but just 'froze.'
She said: "I watched it happen but I just froze.
"She flew up in the air and knocked herself out.
"She's unconscious and upside down the water.
"Hari had come down the slide just before her.
"I was stood at the side shouting to turn her over.
"Hari went over, turned her over and brought her back up."
Kelly took Eden to a nearby hospital, where she had scans on her head but was luckily given the all-clear and left a few hours later.
But Hari even packed Eden a bag to take with her, incase she had to stay overnight
Kelly, of Little Broughton, Cumbria, said: "We were going home the next day.
"They rushed her to hospital and she had scans on her head.
"We weren't sure if she'd be ok to fly back.
"But Hari had packed her up a bag, he was great.
"Luckily, they let her leave a few hours later."
The Grand Kaptan Hotel Alanya have been contacted for a comment.
