"It is located a 20 minute drive from Bucharest, this is a great place to escape from the hustle of the city. Highly recommended."

Bucharest is the capital of Romania making it a popular tourist destination but those planning to visit the area often try to visit too which is just over five hours away by car.

In the capital, there are a range of museums to see or you can stroll around the impressive parks the city has to offer.

Another popular place to visit in is Stavropoleos Monastery, built in 1724, this beautiful church is one of Bucharest's oldest.

"The church is small but amazingly beautiful with its painted walls with icons. The ceiling itself is worth looking at for a long period of time. Entry is free and I really appreciated the quiet."
