US government's latest UFO report details 700 'sightings' with 21 unexplained

The US has released a gripping new UFO report, acknowledging a perplexing tally of 21 enigmatic incidents that defy explanation.

Sent to Congress, the eye-opening dossier comes from the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), set up specifically to delve into the mysteries of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) the official term for UFOs.

The document lays bare a slew of bewildering accounts AARO were hot on the heels of, including sightings such as a surreal green fireball, a dazzling multicoloured jellyfish in the sky, and a 6ft tall silver rocket that left investigators scratching their heads.

Although many tales turned out to be misunderstandings linked to ordinary objects like balloons, birds, unmanned aircraft system (UAS), satellites, and run-of-the-mill aircraft, not everything could be pinned down so easily.

Regular reports pouring into AARO have been chalked up to none other than Elon Musk's Starlink satellite constellation, yet some files remain open with no clear-cut answers in sight.

Among the ongoing uncracked cases, there's the infamous 'GOFAST' footage showcasing a US Navy F/A-18 jet crew's baffling brush with a UAP, and the high-speed chase of a silvery orb caught on the lens of a US drone in the Middle East.

Emphasising a critical point, AARO declared: "It is important to underscore that, to date, AARO has discovered no evidence of extraterrestrial beings, activity, or technology."

They went on to confirm: "None of these resolved cases substantiated advanced foreign adversarial capabilities or breakthrough aerospace technologies."

The team at AARO has acknowledged the ongoing mysteries, revealing: "AARO is working closely with its IC (Intelligence Community) and S&T (Science and Technology) partners to understand and attribute the 21 cases received this reporting period that merit further analysis based on reported anomalous characteristics and/or behaviors."

They assured proactive measures stating, "AARO will provide immediate notification to Congress should AARO identify that any cases indicate or involve a breakthrough foreign adversarial aerospace capability."

During the timeframe of 1 May, 2023, to 1 June, 2024, AARO has been sifting through an extraordinary number of reportsout of 757 UAP sightings reported to them; 485 were witnessed within the specified dates.

By 1 June, 2024, the total review tally for AARO shot past the 1,600 mark.

Department of Defense declared on Thursday (14 Nov): "The safety of our service personnel, our bases and installations, and the protection of U.S. operations security on land, in the skies, seas, and space are paramount. We take reports of incursions into our designated space, land, sea, or airspaces seriously and examine each one."
