The spillage is easily swept away once the crystals merge with the wet polish, streamlining the clean-up process.

However, if the nail polish has dried, it might just peel off.

Cleaning gurus suggest that you can use nail polish remover on ceramic tiles "as long as you don't leave it on for too long".

They advise scrubbing the spill with your remover and then drying the area thoroughly.

Afterwards, wash with water or tile cleaner several times to ensure no chemicals remain.

For nail polish spills on fabrics like cotton or linen, recommends placing a thick layer of paper towels beneath the stain, applying acetone nail polish remover, and dabbing with a white cloth.

It's crucial that the nail polish remover is clear, without fragrance or moisturiser, to avoid additional stains.

After treating the spot, rinse well and set aside for regular laundry.
