Matt Jackson-Smith couldn't contain his laughter while watching a recent episode of 's , where his father became the butt of the joke for misplacing a snake.
The Yorkshire Vet himself recounted the hilarious incident, which involved his pet snake, Storm, vanishing inside his father's car.
With no other option, Matt had to take the car to a garage to locate the elusive reptile, leading to a barrage of quips from the Gogglebox crew at his dad's expense.
In an exclusive chat with Reach PLC, the vet reminisced: "On the most recent one, when we lost the snake in my dad's car."
"It was really funny, because my dad got so much stick from the people who were watching Gogglebox!"
"As I give the snake back to my dad, one of the guys says, 'don't give it back to old fella, he'll just lose it again!' I was howling, so funny!".
During The National Television Awards last month, Matt had the chance to rub shoulders with some of the Gogglebox personalities, including Leeds-based sisters Ellie and Izzi Warner.
The Yorkshire Vet was in the running for the Factual Entertainment award at the NTAs, but was pipped to the post by Stacey Solomon's Sort Your Life Out.
Matt divulged his thoughts on why The Yorkshire Vet resonates with viewers, stating: "I think everyone loves the escapism that the Yorkshire Vet brings. You know, you've got the beautiful scenery, and it's a very popular television show.
"In TV series and movies I've watched, I like the behind-the-scenes sort of things, to get a bit of a lift behind the curtain as well is really quite exciting. And then, with stories that are true stories as well, it really brings them to life."
Matt has further chronicled his experiences from his career in his new book, My Life As a Yorkshire Vet.
Matt's book, My Life As a Yorkshire Vet (Mirror Books, £20), is out on Thursday October 10. You can buy the book on .
