The Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant has become one of the most loved cricketers of cricket fans because he guarantees excitement every time he steps onto the field. With the bat, he showcases versatility, seamlessly switching between orthodox and unorthodox shots. Whether it’s a classic cover drive or an audacious reverse scoop, even against bowlers like James Anderson in Test cricket, Pant can do it all.

As a wicketkeeper, Rishabh Pant is equally impressive. He consistently delivers stunning catches, sharp stumpings and solid glove work behind the stumps. His aggressive mindset makes him an indispensable player, often rescuing India in challenging situations, particularly in overseas Tests. Pant’s presence will be crucial for India’s quest to secure a third consecutive Test series win in Australia later this year.

Even Australian players recognize Rishabh Pant’s talent. Mitchell Marsh has openly praised him, wishing Pant was an Australian, while Travis Head who is known for his own aggressive batting considers Pant the most ‘Australian’ player in India’s lineup.

While speaking on a sports channel, Mitchell Marsh said, “He’s a ripping bloke. I wish he was Australian. He’s obviously been through a lot over the last few years, and it’s been a hell of a comeback. He’s a positive guy, still really young, and he loves winning. He’s highly competitive for someone who has the persona of being relaxed and always laughing and smiling. He’s got that big smile.”
