Hyderabad: Man murdered in broad daylight at Golconda

Hyderabad: A fruit vendor was murdered brutally in broad daylight at Golconda in Hyderabad on Sunday.

The deceased, Mohd Saleem (40), is a resident of Jhirra in Asifnagar. He was having some household issues with his wife and on Sunday, he went to his in-laws house at Golconda when an argument occurred between Saleem, his brother in law and other family members.

During the brawl, Saleem was brutally attacked with knives and stone and done to death, Syed Fayaz, ACP Golconda said.

On coming to know about the incident, the Golconda police rushed to the scene and inspected the spot. The body was moved to Osmania Hospital mortuary. The clues team visited the spot. A case is registered.

The in-laws of Saleem told the officers that he was reportedly harassing and torturing his wife on some or other issue and hence they had called him for discussion with family elders.

Senior officials visited the spot and formed special teams to investigate the case.
