Akshay Kumar Shares UPDATE On Hera Pheri 3: We'll Start Next Year

Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty reunited at the Mumbai private airport as they travelled to Surat, Gujarat to attend an event. The Hera Pheri trio evoked nostalgia with their appearance. While Akshay, Paresh and Suniel were together for the 16th Akshay Kumar International Kudo Tournament 2024, fans demanded the threequel of Hera Pheri. At the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2024 today (November 16) in Delhi, Akshay was asked about the status of Hera Pheri 3. The actor said he is currently working on Welcome To The Jungle and Hera Pheri 3 will be made soon.

Akshay shares update on Hera Pheri 3 Akshay said, “We are making Welcome at this moment and as soon as producer ki hera pheri khatam ho jaye phir hum shuru kar denge.” He laughed and clarified immediately that it was just a joke. It will be exciting to shoot with the whole team. It's a great franchise, and I'm so happy to be a part of it. Firoz aur mera rishta bhi bahut purana hai (I have a close relationship with producer Firoz Nadiadwala), and it's great to be together with Akshay (Kumar), Suniel anna (Shetty), and Paresh (Rawal).”

Suniel also revealed that Hera Pheri 3 is being made through a LinkedIn post. It read, “So Hera Pheri 3 is finally happening! Look forward to being back on set with Pareshji & Akki. Like all good things, this one took some time, but it’s a relief to finally have an answer to this question! Films are such a huge part of our culture, and yet, not many understand what goes into making a film. Apart from creative challenges, the #businessmodel & needs of the #movie business make it as challenging as any other.” However, the film faced an obstacle due to a conflict between Eros and Firoz Nadiadwala.
