Far-right radio show host Alex Jones on Thursday tweeted that he 'formally accepts the offer to serve as President Trump’s new Press secretary'. The 50-year-old's post came just before the president-elect announced 2024 campaign manager Susan Wiles as his chief of staff. Weeks ago, Donald Trump Jr had spoken about getting Jones and far-right commentator Laura Loomer as press secratary. "I formally accept the offer to serve as President Trump’s new Press secretary," Alex Jones wrote on X, platform formerly known as Twitter. Jones' post sparked speculation about his role in the Trump administration, as press secretary. "Alex Jones Accepts Don Jr's Nomination To Be The New Press Secretary For The Incoming Trump Administration," Jones later tweeted. "Alex Jones as press secretary would be single handedly the greatest political move in American history. The greatest action in Make America Great Again🤣🤣🤣," another one added on the Elon Musk-led microblogging platform.
