Hailing from one of the biggest film families in India, Arjun Kapoor’s world revolved around a movie set, as he confessed exclusively in Zoom’s interview. Now a larger-than-life big screen hero, he is pulling audience to theatres with Singham Again. As he spoke about playing Danger Lanka, the mean machine in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama Singham Again, Arjun recalled attending movie premieres with family members and how big-screen entertainers like Ram Lakhan left a maximum impression on him while growing up.
Ram Lakhan left the most impression Arjun said, “I would watch Subhash Ghai films like Ram Lakhan and Karma. We got chances to go and watch Anil (Kapoor) chachu’s films. I was a bit young for Mr India but Ram Lakhan left the most impression on me growing up. Even Karma. Our families were very close and Chintu (Rishi Kapoor) uncle made Heena (acted in the film). I remember the premiere of the film.” 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was a big experience' Calling Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge a ‘big experience’, Arjun revealed he watched the Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol film 4 times. “DDLJ was a big experience. I remember watching it 4 times back-to-back. After watching it with my mom (Mona Shourie Kapoor), I went again. I was 10 at that time, was about to step into my teenage.” Arjun received acclaim for playing the antagonist, named Danger Lanka, in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. His co-stars were Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff. The film released on November 1, 2024.You may also like
