Several voters, tired of the Donald Trump vs. Kamala Harris choice, are opting for a third-party solution in Chase Oliver and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The two are among the 22 presidential hopefuls—from third parties and independents—participating in the race for the White House. As Americans voted on Tuesday, hundreds posted on social media about choosing Oliver over Trump and Harris."I’ve heard more people say “third party votes don’t matter” more than I’ve ever heard. You trying to convince me or yourself?? Proud of my vote for Chase Oliver. I didn’t have to follow up my vote with I chose the “lesser evil”. Your slander on Chase Oliver didn’t work on me. Your desperate attempt to shame my vote to distract from your active participation in propping up the two party system to fuck us AGAIN has failed. No matter who wins, neither side has the any reason to bitch and moan," a voter said on X, platform formerly known as Twitter.Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suspended his independent presidential campaign in August 2024 and endorsed Donald Trump. Last week, he said Trump has promised to give him "control" of several public health agencies if he wins the election in November. This includes the US Department of Health and Human Services and the US Department of Agriculture.“The key that I think I’m – you know, that President Trump has promised me is – is control of the public health agencies, which are HHS and its sub-agencies, CDC, FDA, NIH and a few others, and then also the USDA, which is – which, you know, is key to making America healthy. Because we’ve got to get off of seed oils, and we’ve got to get off of pesticide intensive agriculture,” Kennedy said.
