Seunghan's departure from RIIZE has created quite the stir among international BRIIZE as well as fans of other K-pop groups. Now, Super Junior's leader Leeteuk has seemingly shared his stance over the situation.
Super Junior's Leeteuk shows support for Seunghan?Ever since SM Entertainment announced Seunghan's departure from RIIZE, BRIIZE as well as non-fans have been taking to social media to protest. While a bunch of fans wrote heartfelt letters for Seunghan, others expressed their displeasure with the label's decision. Some even likened the situation to what happened with Henry Lau. For the unversed, in 2007, Super Junior's fans had used rather harsh methods to protest Henry's addition to the group. The singer-songwriter often speaks about how much the protests affected. ALSO READ: Remembering the time, one X user tweeted, "What happened to RIIZE's Seunghan and the group as a whole is heartbreaking, and it’s extremely unfortunate how SM and even artists in general always prioritize Korean fans wishes. Artists wishes doesn’t matter, international fans wishes doesn’t matter, there’s only ONE thing that matters to K-pop companies and it’s K-netz opinion."
On October 15, several K-pop stans realised that the tweet had been re-tweeted by Super Junior's Leeteuk. Unfortunately, he had since un-retweeted it. However, netizens have taken Leeteuk's small gesture as a sign of opposition to Seunghan's removal from RIIZE.
