Donald Trump reportedly mocked former President Jimmy Carter during a campaign speech on the latter's milestone 100th birthday. The 78-year-old brought up Carter while speaking at a manufacturing facility in Waunakee, Wisconsin on Tuesday, according to PBS. At the rally, Trump first called President Joe Biden the worst president in US history. He then referred to Jimmy Carter as the 'happiest man because Jimmy Carter is considered a brilliant president by comparison'. Trump Faces BacklashPosting a video of Donald Trump speaking about Carter, one person tweeted: "Donald Trump mentions former President Jimmy Carter on his birthday to mock his legacy as president."

"Trump has no right to say ANYTHING about former President Carter except happy birthday," another person added on X, platform formerly known as Twitter. "God you’re reprehensible. You’re human garbage. And that’s an insult to garbage," a third person tweeted. His wife, Rosalynn Carter, who died in November 2023, added: “The worst is that he is not telling the truth, and that just hurts everything.”Jimmy Carter was a one-term president from 1977 to 1981.
