Fans Overjoyed As Adam Gontier Rejoins Three Days Grace: 'So Excited'

Send Push

The rock band 'Three Days Grace' announced in a social media post on Thursday that they would reunite with founding vocalist Adam Gontier. Fans of the Canadian band were overjoyed to see Gontier back in the band and made their feelings known on social media. The Canadian band's lead vocalist had left the group in 2013 citing creative differences and desire for change. After joining the band for a reunion live performance in 2023, he is officially set to enter the line-up again. At the time of departing the band, Gontier had said that he was not enjoying making music and wanted to take a step back and re-evaluate life. Despite reports of health issues, Goniter had clarified that he faced no such problems. Notably, Gontier formed the band Saint Asonia after leaving Three Days Grace. Gontier joined Three Days Grace for a concert in Huntsville, Alabama in 2023 and fans were treated to a dose of nostalgia as they performed old hits like 'Never Too Late' and 'Riot.' With Gontier rejoining the band, he and Matt Walst will jointly share the vocal duties, the band said. Here's how social media reacted to the news: "OHHHHGH NY GOD ADAM GONTIER IS COMING BACK TO TDG IM GOING TO EXPLODE," one user wrote.

"ADAM GONTIER IS BACK WITH THREE DAYS GRACE I NEED CONCERT DATES NOW," said another.

"Adam Gontier returning to Three Days Grace was the happiest thing I've heard today," said one.

"I haven't talked about music lately. But I am SO excited that Adam Gontier is coming back to #ThreeDaysGrace. I met him along with the rest of Saint Asonia during the Rock Resurrection tour last fall, they were really nice," said another.

"Three Days Grace reuniting with Adam Gontier was not an expected outcome, but I am very excited to hear this news. Matt Walsh will be staying around as a lead makes for a very interesting blend of voices. I am curious to see what they have in store," said one.

Three Days Grace is a Canadian rock band formed in 1992 in Norwood, Ontario. Originally known as Groundswell, they changed their name to Three Days Grace in 1997.
