'Feel Like Abusing Them, Spinners Have Died!' : Ex PAK Star Lashes Out At Pakistan After Embarrassing Loss vs England In 1st Test

Despite scoring over 550 runs in the 1st Test in Multan, Pakistan didn't capitalise on their first innings batting as the bowlers conceded a whopping 823 runs, which led to an innings and 47 run-loss on the hands of England. Joe Root slammed 262, while Harry Brook came up with a brilliant 317. The Shan Masood-led side in their 2nd innings then bundled out for only 220 runs. The loss was so embarrassing that former Pakistan star spinner, Danish Kaneria couldn't hold back his emotions as he felt like 'abusing' the players after the match. He feels that in a flat track pitch, the pacers failed to get any reverse swing and it seemed like the spinners have all 'died'."I feel like abusing them. You conceded 800+ runs. Even I have played cricket on such dead tracks. Where is our reverse swing? Where is our bouncers? Where are our spinners? It seems like all the spinners in Pakistan have died. Even fast bowlers are finished. There is not even a single bowler who could've clocked 140 kmph, let alone 150 kmph. Babar Azam is twerking on such lifeless tracks," Kaneria said on his YouTube channel. The woeful run of the Pakistanis doesn't seem to end at all in the longest formar. With this heavy defeat, the Shan Masood-led side have now lost 6 matches on the trot and are presently on a 11-run winless streak at their own backyard. Kaneria didn't show any mercy to spinner Abrar Ahmed, who didn't came down to bat on Day 5 as he was hospitalised due to high fever. The 26-year old bowled a total of 35 overs and conceded 174 runs without taking any wicket. The 43-year old termed the recent debacle of Pakistan cricket as a 'global mockery' which is by no means less than a 'funeral'. "Pakistan's club cricket is full of bowlers like Abrar. What kind of a mystery spinner is he? It's beyond my understanding. You guys have ruined Pakistan cricket. We used to be a top-ranked team, but now we are bottom of the pile. Even we played on such tracks. Never got humiliated like this. Who will take the responsibility? You guys can't even show your face in public. This is a global mockery. The funeral of Pakistan cricket has taken place," he further added.
