'He's Even Better Than Alex Ferguson': Kevin Pietersen's Brutal Erik ten Hag Mocking Lights up The Internet

Manchester United’s poor season has continued to haunt them. Erik ten Hag’s side succumbed to their third defeat this season as they lost 3-0 to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski, and Dominic Solanke registered their names on the scoresheet as the Red Devils have been winless in their last three games in all competitions. To make matters worse Bruno Fernandes was brandished a straight red card for a dangerous foul on James Maddison and he will miss the next three EPL clashes. Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen took to social media to mock Erik ten Hag after the brutal loss. The defeat left United in 11th place with seven points and they are just four points adrift of the relegation zone. Pietersen posted on X, “Please give Ten Hag time. He is a wonderful manager and has earned the right to another 2/3 seasons at least. “ He’s even better than Ferguson. “PLEASE don’t sack him! “PLEASE.” Ten Hag was sufficiently backed by Ineos in the transfer market but he has failed to deliver the results so far. The Dutch manager will be under tremendous pressure given the result. “First we have to deal with this and show resilience. This is not good enough,” Ten Hag said. “We have to accept this and get better. Focus on the next game and do things better than we did today.” Fernandes who endured a very poor afternoon insisted it was never a red card. As quoted by AP he said, “Nobody wants to be sent off, it’s not a good feeling. “I didn’t go with the studs. It’s never a red card. Even James Maddison when he gets up he said it’s not a red card.” “If this is a red card we have to look at many other incidents,” Fernandes said. “It is a foul. There is not much contact. If he (the referee) wants to give me a yellow, I agree. I don’t understand why VAR doesn’t call him to the screen.”
