Jr NTR’s recent release Devara: Part 1 has set the cash registers ringing at the box office. The action entertainer has minted more than Rs 400 crore worldwide in terms of collections. Jr NTR Reacts to Breaking Rajamouli’s MythActors like Ram Charan (after Magadheera), Prabhas (after Chatrapathi and Baahubali), Jr NTR (after Student No: 1, Simhadri and Yamadonga) and Ravi Teja (after Vikramarkudu) have failed to score hits in their subsequent films after working in a Rajamouli directorial. This eventually went on to become a myth that whoever does Rajamouli’s film their subsequent film will be a failure. But after RRR, Jr NTR broke the myth as his next film Devara is a runaway hit at the box office. ‘Feels Nice To Be A Myth Breaker’When Jr NTR was asked about the same in his latest interview about Devara, as part of a meme session, he was happy to be a myth breaker. “It was our inability to do films (follow up film after Rajamouli) properly. Since Rajamouli has given a hit, we are blaming it on him. Myth means something that doesn’t have any reality. But it feels nice to be a ‘myth breaker’,” said Jr NTR, adding that even though there’s no such Rajamouli curse, breaking that myth gives him a high. Rajamouli’s Son Karthikeya Validated Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya recently took to social media and said that Jr NTR indeed broke his father Rajamouli’s myth after watching Devara. Karthikeya said that Jr NTR finally broke the 23 years of myth – it all started with the actor when Student No 1 released on September 27, 2001 and ended with him on September 27, 2024 with Devara.
