According to NASA, the Leonids are noted for their colourful, bright fireballs that last longer than any typical meteor streak. When the meteor shower peaks, spectators should be able to witness shooting stars flying across the sky at breathtaking velocities of around 44 miles per second. When Will The Leonid Meteor Shower Peak? The meteor shower will take place throughout the weekend (November 16 and November 17) and stargazers could be visible in areas where the sky is clear. How To Watch The Meteor Shower?The Leonid meteors can be best viewed around midnight. The meteors seem to radiate from one particular area in the sky as the constellation. NASA has advised celestial observers to look away from the constellation to get the best views.
