Maruti Suzuki Baleno Regal Edition Launched With Accessories Worth Rs 60,000

Maruti Suzuki has launched the Baleno Regal edition in India. The complimentary package will be available across all four trims of the premium hatchback. The limited-run special edition models will benefit from a host of accessories. The Regal edition package will add goodies up to Rs 60,199, depending on which trim you pick. Exterior highlights of this festive season package for the Balenon include garnish on the front grille, front and rear underbody spoiler, fog lamp garnish, body side moulding, and door visors, to name a few.Also Read: On the inside, the Regal edition will add accessories such as all-weather mats, window curtains, an interior styling kit, new seat covers, a boot mat, a steering cover, and much more. The Sigma trim will receive accessories worth Rs 60,199, the Delta trim will receive accessories worth Rs 49,990, and the Zeta and Alpha trims will receive accessories worth Rs 50,428 and Rs 45,829, respectively.Besides adding interior and exterior accessories to the Baleno, the Regal edition does not alter the hatchback mechanically. The Baleno continues to be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that churns out 88 hp and 113 Nm of peak torque. The Baleno is available with a five-speed manual transmission. But you can also get it with a five-speed AMT. A CNG derivative is also available for the Baleno. It uses the same engine as the petrol models, but when running on natural gas, its power output goes down to 76 hp with peak torque reducing to 98.5 Nm.Also Read: The Baleno feature list also remains the same. The top-spec Alpha trim is available with creature comforts such as a 360 surround view camera, a heads-up display, LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror, automatic climate control, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a lot more, depending upon which trim you go for. The Maruti Suzuki Baleno retails in India at a starting price of Rs 8.40 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-spec Alpha trim with the AMT gearbox will set you back by Rs 9.83 lakh (ex-showroom).
