A matrimonial ad from a 26-year-old investor in Meerut has gone viral on social media, sparking both amusement and scepticism. The ad, which was posted on the platform X (formerly Twitter), claims that the young investor earns ₹29 lakh annually and that his income is "compoundingly increasing" by 54% every year. It even offers potential matches for a PowerPoint presentation on safe investing. The ad describes the man as "intellectual, handsome, and smart" and provides details about his income, stating, "Investor (Indian stock market), earning 29 LPA (actual, present). Income and net worth compoundingly increasing every year by 54% (self-discovered, self-taught work)." To further assure prospective matches of his financial stability, the investor promises to send a 16-slide PowerPoint presentation detailing his investing strategy via WhatsApp.

Former JP Morgan Executive Director Samit Singh shared the ad on X, and it quickly gained attention, with users poking fun at the bold claims of a 54% annual increase in wealth. Several users expressed doubt, with one commenting, "Interesting! Compounding net worth at 54% — he’ll be the richest man in the world in no time." Another joked, "54% Compounding – this guy will beat Buffett soon!"The unusual nature of the ad, with its detailed explanation of the young man’s investing habits, prompted comparisons to a business pitch rather than a typical matrimonial profile. Some users questioned the safety of his investing claims, with one remarking, "It has option seller written all over it!"
