Nandhan On OTT: When And Where To Watch Sasikumar's Rural Drama

Actor Sasikumar's Nandhan which released in theatres on September 20 is now out on a popular OTT platform.The film has hit OTT much before it has completed the 4-week theatrical run. Nandhan has been written, directed and produced by Era Saravanan, who previously directed Udanpirappe starring Sasikumar, Jyotika and Samuthirakani in lead roles. This is Sasikumar's second collaboration with the director.

Nandhan on OTT Nandhan is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. It is currently available in Tamil with English subtitles. The film released in theatres alongside Hiphop Adhi's Kadaisi Ulaga Por, Harish Kalyan's Lubber Pandhu, Sathish's Sattam En Kaiyil and Seenu Ramasamy's Kozhipannai Chelladurai. Era Saravanan talks about Sasikumar's dedication To NandhanIn a detailed birthday note, Era Saravanan posted, “Sasikumar sir went to great lengths for Nandan by adjusting his looks and habits and even chewing betel leaves to achieve a realistic look."He also posted "During a difficult scene where he had to be trampled, those present were hesitant but he insisted on authenticity despite the risks. I asked the villagers to treat it like a real fight and Sasikumar never complained despite the injuries. After the final scenes, I suggested reshooting a portion to increase the realism and he agreed without hesitation. Later, he told me that people usually praise his films but this time they praised his acting and that is what counts for an actor. His commitment and dedication to the role was remarkable." Nandhan stars Suruthi Periyasamy Balaji Sakthivel in pivotal roles.The film's first look was released by producer and actor Udhayanidhi Stalin on social media in 2022.The film features Saran as the cinematographer and Ghibran Vaibodha as the music composer. Viduthalai actor Soori praised Nandhan. He took and he took to social media to shower praise for the film, and wrote: "It's been hours of watching the film - Nandan's still manages to awe me!
