Rakesh Roshan on Karan Arjun's remakeIn a recent interaction, director Rakesh shared a fascinating idea about the possibility of modern-day versions of the characters Karan and Arjun and made it clear that he has no intention of remaking Karan Arjun or making a sequel. He told Etimes, "I won’t remake Karan Arjun or make a sequel but If I were to think of an alternate jodi for the movie today, I would cast Hrithik Roshan as Karan and Ranbir Kapoor as Arjun".
