Pacman Jones Was Racially Abused Before Arrest? Ex-NFL Star Releases Video

Former NFL cornerback Adam Pacman Jones shared a video on his Instagram account on Sunday morning which he said was taken moments before his arrest on Saturday from the Loews Arlington Hotel. Charges of public intoxication, resisting arrest and assaulting an on-duty police officer was pressed on the 41-year-old. However, posting the video as proof, Jones claimed that he was racially abused before the incident. The video showed a woman seemingly shouting a racial slur as Jones and his group were walking out of the hotel. It's not clear if she was targeting Pacman while yelling the racial slang.Here's the video:

There was a lot of shouting and pointing before Jones, dressed in the #8 jersey and a cowboy hat, stood in front of the woman and a man, both of whom allegedly yelled the slur.Read More:

Though it is not clear from the video what the argument that broke out was about, Jones alleged that the guy called him the slur again. The man also allegedly tried to throw a hand at the former footballer. It was only after the vocal altercation that Jones went after the guy, leading to his arrest. He was held on a $319 bail over the weekend. Previous Charges Against Pacman JonesJones was arrested in 2005 on the grounds of vandalism and assault that came from an incident that occurred at a nightclub in Nashville. The former NFL star was also taken into custody while he was on board a flight at CVG airport. Jones was charged with unruly behavior, terroristic threats and public drunkenness.
