Rajinikanth Hospitalised: PM Modi, Kamal Haasan, Thalapathy Vijay Wish Superstar A Swift Recovery

Actor Rajinikanth was admitted to the hospital on September 30, Monday evening in Chennai leaving fans worried.However in the early hours of September 1, it was stated that he underwent a non-surgical procedure and was stable. Later that day, an official statement from the hospital said that the actor had a swelling in the main blood vessel leaving his heart (Aorta), which was treated by a transcatheter method.

His tweet read "Our Hon. PM Thiru @narendramodi avl spoke telephonically to Smt. Latha Rajinikanth avl today to inquire about the health of our Super Star Thiru @rajinikanth avl.Hon PM was informed about the well-being of Thiru Rajinikanth avl post-surgery & Hon PM wished him a speedy recovery." Kamal Haasan, MNM leader actor and Rajinikanth's friend took to his X account to wish him a swift recovery. His tweet read "I wish my dear friend, who is hospitalised, a speedy recovery". TVK chief and actor Vijay also shared his wishes for Rajinikanth, he posted "I pray to God that Rajinikanth sir should get well soon and return home". He had a swelling in the main blood vessel leaving his heart (aorta), which was treated by a non surgical, transcathether method. Senior interventional Cardiologist, Dr Sai Satish placed a stent in the aorta completely sealing off the swelling (Endovascular Repair). We would like to let his well-wishers and fans know that the procedure went, as planned. Mr Rajinikanth is stable and is doing well. He should be home in two days." On the work front, Rajinikanth is currently awaiting the release of Vettaiyan which will release on October 10.
