Quinoa Tomato Bath

Prepared with a blend of simple ingredients, follow these simple steps and make the most of your breakfast. Ingredients
  • 2 cups quinoa
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp sambhar powder
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp cumin seeds
  • ¼ tsp mustard seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 sprig of curry leaves

Keep them aside and soak the quinoa for 15 minutes. Step 2: In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, the moment it starts crackling, add onions, curry leaves and green chilli to the mixture. Saute nicely and add ginger-garlic paste. Keep sauteing until the raw smell goes.Step 3: After the raw flavour goes, add chopped tomatoes and saute for some time. Sprinkle red chilli powder, sambhar powder, turmeric powder and salt into the mixture. Step 4: After the raw smell of masala is gone and the tomatoes look cooked, add soaked quinoa and water to the mixture Cook covered for about 20 minutes, before serving, sprinkle coriander leaves along with a dollop of ghee for a delicious taste. Serve with raita and enjoy!
