WATCH: SENSATIONAL Cristiano Ronaldo Stuns Crowd With Age-defying Bicycle Kick Against Poland

Send Push

Cristiano Ronaldo hasn't shown any signs of ageing at all. The 39 year old led Portugal once again to a huge 5-1 win over Poland in the UEFA Nations League. The first half didn't produce a goal. But in the second half, it was a one way traffic as Portugal seized the opportunity to pile misery on Poland. Rafael Leao opened the scoring and Ronaldo converted a spot kick to double the lead after 72 minutes. Bruno Fernandes and Pedro Neto then extended Portugal's lead but it was Ronaldo who stole the limelight.

The Al Nassr star connected a dipping cross from teammate Vitinha with a bicycle kick from close range and the Poland keeper Marcin Bulka didn't have a chance to do anything as he watched the ball powered into the net. The former Manchester United forward rounded off a brilliant match with his 135th international goal and his 910 career goals. Portugal have now qualified for the UEFA Nations League quarterfinals as they needed only a draw against Poland to secure a top place in their group.Ronaldo has been tipped to reach the 1000 career goals barrier but the player recently insisted he is not focusing on that goal.As quoted by beIN Sports he said, "If the 1,000 goals come, great. But if they don’t, I’m still the player with the most official goals in history,”"I’ll be honest, I’m to blame for this: in life, in some things, in football, on a personal level, I now approach life by living in the moment, and I think that’s the most important thing. We don’t need to think long-term; I can no longer think long-term. That’s it: live in the moment, enjoy the moment. Whatever I’m capable of doing now, I will do.”
