Republican nominee Donald Trump on Wednesday was elected as the 47th US President, defeating his Democrat opponent Kamala Harris. However, after Harris's defeat, social media gets flooded with memes "where is Kamala Harris?"After Trump's victory, the Democrat leader has not yet made any official statement. As per reports, Harris is likely to deliver remarks at around 4 pm ET at Howard University. The US Vice-President has also spoke to Trump and canceded the presidential race.

Trump won the US presidential election for a second term, handing a shock defeat to Harris. He was evicted from power four years back.Harris "called President-elect Trump to congratulate him on winning the 2024 presidential election," CNN reported, quoting an official in Harris' team.She discussed the importance of a peaceful transfer of power and being a president for all Americans, it said. Harris will have to leave the Vice-President's post. republican leader JD Vance, Trump's running mate, will be the new VP of the country.This will be only the second instance that a president will be serving two non-consecutive terms in the White House, the first in 132 years. Grover Cleveland served as a non-consecutive president in 1884 and 1892.On Wednesday, after Trump was elected the 47th president of the United States, world leaders, including those from India, Australia, the UK, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, and Ukraine, congratulated the Republican leader for his "historic" comeback in the polls.
