Who Are The Hezbollah Leaders Killed Alongside Nasrallah In Israel's Beirut Strike?

In a targeted Israeli airstrike on Hezbollah's main headquarters in Dahiyeh, Lebanon, multiple senior Hezbollah leaders were killed, including its leader Hassan Nasrallah. Along with a number of other significant Hezbollah leaders, Ali Karaki, the commander of Hezbollah's Southern Front, was reported dead by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), as has been corroborated by a report of Times Of Israel. The assault was intended to target Hezbollah's well-known subterranean headquarters, which is situated beneath residential buildings in Beirut's southern suburbs. According to the IDF, at the moment of the strike, the commanders were organizing actions against Israeli citizens. One of the well-known individuals slain in the operation, Ali Karaki, was crucial to Hezbollah's military activities close to Israel's border on the southern front. His death is thought to have dealt a serious blow to Hezbollah's leadership. It is also stated that other top commanders—whose names are not made public—were also slain in the same strike. Meanwhile, pro-Iranian militants in eastern Syria were the target of unidentified bombings, according to information from a Syrian war monitor. Twelve fighters were killed and several more were injured in these attacks, which took place close to Deir Ezzor and the Boukamal area. Though no formal confirmation has been provided, there is speculation that either Israel or the United States may have been involved in these strikes. The attack on Hezbollah's leadership and Nasrallah has raised tensions in the area. Hezbollah's close ally Iran has demanded an urgent UN Security Council meeting in protest of Nasrallah's death. Amir Saeid Iravani, Iran's UN ambassador, warned of the possibility of a full-scale regional conflict and asked the Council to act quickly to stop what Tehran saw as Israel's aggression. Concerns over wider ramifications for regional stability have been raised by the bombing, which has signaled a significant escalation in the war between Israel and Hezbollah. The entire extent of the IDF's operation and its long-term effects are still unknown as of right now.
