Ayodhya schools closed amid heavy rains, check official notice here

The Ayodhya education officer has issued a notice stating that all schools, from classes 1 to 12, will remain closed today, September 28, 2024, due to heavy rainfall. The official notice was issued on Friday night. The decision to close schools was made in response to the city experiencing heavy rains over the past couple of days. According to the information provided, if the weather conditions improve, schools will resume normal classes on Monday, October 30, 2024. This decision has been taken with the safety of students, teachers, and non-teaching staff in mind.



Both Prayagraj and Lucknow experienced heavy rainfall on Friday, and similar weather conditions have been forecast for today. According to reports, the Meteorological Department issued a red alert for Uttar Pradesh on September 27, 2024. Furthermore, the IMD has also warned of heavy rains with thunder and lightning in several parts of Uttar Pradesh. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation as the monsoon continues to affect the region.


Although the official notice states that schools will be closed today, students, parents, and guardians are advised to regularly check with their respective schools for updates regarding reopening on Monday, October 30, should the weather conditions remain unchanged
