Frances Bean Cobain and Riley Hawk welcome their first child

The baby daughter of late musician Kurt Cobain and her actor husband, Riley Hawk, are now parents for the very first time. The couple has their first child-a baby boy-on 17th September, 2024. Frances shared this good news through a post on her Instagram account on 28th September as well as some black-and-white photos of their son capturing special moments with family members.

One photo features the toddler son of famous skateboarder Tony Hawk, Riley, cuddling the newborn, while another shows baby Cobain Hawk holding onto his mother's fingers. Frances welcomed their baby boy into the world by announcing his name-Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk-and addressed him as the most beautiful son in her heartfelt post. She emphasized how much love they have for their little boy, captioning the photo: "Welcome to the world, most beautiful son. We love you more than anything."

The post also had a related Instagram Story in which Frances added John Lennon's song 'Beautiful Boy' as the celebration of the new baby's birth. The new dad and mom received a lot of love-filled and congratulatory messages from family, friends, and fans as well. Skater Tony Hawk revelled in the news of a new grandson by the name of Ronin, stating that he's his "favorite grandson."

The celebrity couple was thronged by many inebriated famous friends to celebrate the joyous occasion. Daughter Zelda Williams of late actor Robin Williams herself sends warm congratulations, while actresses Christina Ricci and Harper Grohl, daughter to Dave Grohl, shower love with sweet emojis. "Tiny prince," exclaims Tallulah Willis, a daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, ending her congratulations with praise for special parents Frances and Riley.

Frances and Riley exchanged vows on 7 October 2023 in a beautiful Victorian-themed wedding officiated by Michael Stipe, the lead singer of R.E.M. and godfather of Frances; her loved friends and family have joined her in celebration of love.

Frances was married once before to guitarist Isaiah Silva before her marriage to Riley but the former did not end well, and they ended up in a complicated divorce. Frances was born on August 18, 1992, in Los Angeles. Frances is an only daughter from Nirvana's lead singer Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. Frances lived most of her early life not seeing her father. She however keeps him living in her art pieces and sometimes even portrays him.
