Send Push
This Sunday will mark the first time since that 2023 playoff game as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Philadelphia Eagles in a highly publicized Wild Card rematch from last season. For the Eagles, it was a humiliating end to an upset-filled season—and, some believed, Jason Kelce’s last game.

Once again, the game will take place in Raymond James Stadium as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to redeem what has been a thus far terrible season.

Hurricane Threatens the Game

The lead up to this game has been marked with serious concerns though as Hurricane Helene threatens the game. This Category 4 storm made landfall Thursday night in the Big Bend area of Florida's Gulf Coast, bringing what the National Hurricane Center described as "life-threatening conditions." The storm raised questions about game status, although reports by Anthony R. Wood and Gabriela Carroll of the Philadelphia Inquirer suggest neither the NFL nor the teams will consider postponing or relocating the event.

Special Coverage and Broadcast Team
The nerve-wracking broadcast of Sunday’s game between the Buccaneers and the Eagles will be aired regionally on FOX. Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady will be headlining in the booth while Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi are on the sidelines for this matchup. The game begins at 1 p.m. ET, providing one final opportunity for both teams to show what they have after last week's Wild Card game.

Buccaneers and Eagles Seek Revenge Each team is gearing up for the game to prove themselves on Sunday. Bo Nix dominated them with his rushing game, getting 47 rushing yards and one touchdown. After putting on a show against the Washington Commanders and beating a contender like the Detroit Lions, Tampa succumbed to Sean Payton and company. Meanwhile, the Eagles outlasted the Saints 15-12 with Saquon Barkley needing two late touchdowns to leave Notre Dame Stadium with the win. Up for either Baker Mayfield and Jalen Hurts is a must-step this Sunday, with this performance shaping up to be their season-defining moment as they try to guide their teams to victory.
