NEW DELHI: Delhi Metro 's Blue Line experienced disruptions on Wednesday for more than 30 minutes due to a drone found on the tracks between Uttam Nagar East and Uttam Nagar West metro stations, as reported by officials.
The drone was removed from the tracks, and train services were regulated from 2:50 pm to 3:29 pm.
During the disruption, train services were suspended between Uttam Nagar East and Uttam Nagar West. However, single-line train services were maintained between Uttam Nagar East and Janakpuri West, as well as between Uttam Nagar West and Dwarka.
The rest of the Blue Line sections continued to operate in two loops: from Janakpuri West to Vaishali/NOIDA Electronic City and from Dwarka to Dwarka Sec-21.
After receiving security clearance, normal services resumed on the entire Blue Line, spanning from Dwarka Sector 21 to Noida Electronic City/Vaishali, at 3:29 pm, as confirmed by the officials.
