NEW DELHI: The Central Consumer Protection Authority ( CCPA ) has directed Ola Cabs to provide travel bill or invoice to customers after completing a ride.
Officials said CCPA chief commissioner Nidhi Khare in a recent order instructed the company to comply with the norm in 15 days. They added that other similar ride-hailing platforms are following the norm after the authority asked them to do so. “Getting an invoice with details is the right of every consumer. If the firm doesn’t comply within the set timeframe, the authority will take necessary action,” said an official. tnn
