NEW DELHI: IndiGo's Jaipur-Dehradun flight 6E-7468 was diverted to Delhi following a reported engine failure on its ATR turboprop aircraft (VT-IRA). The plane landed safely at Delhi Airport, with all necessary protocols in place.
In a statement, IndiGo said: “Flight 6E-7468 operating from Jaipur to Dehradun was diverted to Delhi due to a technical issue. The aircraft will resume operations after necessary maintenance. Refreshments were served to the customers, and an alternative aircraft has been arranged to complete their journey to the destination. We apologise for the inconvenience caused to our customers.”
Sources indicated the technical issue was linked to an engine failure.
