Public transportation will operate as usual to ensure voters can easily travel to their polling stations. In Mumbai, the state capital, both the Metro and BEST buses will run until midnight, providing convenient travel options throughout the day.

Hospitals and emergency services remain open
Critical services such as hospitals, pharmacies, and ambulances will be available as usual. Citizens can rely on these emergency services for any health-related concerns during the day.

Educational institutions closed

All schools, colleges, and other educational institutions in Maharashtra will remain closed to allow both staff and students to cast their votes without any barriers.

Government offices and private sector employees on holiday

Government offices across the state will be closed for the day. In Mumbai, private sector employees have been granted a paid holiday to ensure they can participate in the electoral process.

Banks and stock markets closed
All public and private sector banks will be closed for business. However, online banking services and ATMs will continue to function as usual. Additionally, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain shut, with trading set to resume the following day.
