A 32-year-old man, Tejendra Yadav , died Sunday after he was allegedly thrashed by four of his friends for refusing to throw a " fish party " for them. The assault took place in Uttar Pradesh 's Budaun district .
Police said Yadav had gone fishing with his friends - Dharmapal Kashyap, Rupram Kashyap, Mahavir Kashyap and Ram Shankar Kashyap (in their 30s) - on Saturday afternoon and they had a heated argument at the spot.
Dataganj circle officer (CO) Shakti Singh told TOI, "Things turned ugly, when Tejendra refused to throw a party and instead insisted on taking the catch home. All four accused were arrested. During questioning, they confessed."
