Elon Musk , the billionaire CEO of Tesla and SpaceX , made his first appearance at a Donald Trump rally on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, marking a public alliance with the former president as the 2024 election approaches.

Addressing the crowd with energy, Musk donned a black " Make America Great Again " cap and an "Occupy Mars" shirt, declaring himself " Dark MAGA ."

"As you can see, I'm not just MAGA, I'm dark MAGA," Musk said to roaring applause, showing his support for Trump’s re-election bid.

Meanwhile, he warned the audience of the dire consequences if Trump does not win, stating, "This will be the last election if Trump doesn’t win."

The rally was held at the same venue where Trump survived an assassination attempt in July. Musk, known for his usual subdued public speaking style, raised his energy levels as he urged the crowd to "Fight! Fight! Fight!" echoing Trump's calls to action.

Musk called Trump "brave" and referred to the recent assassination attempt against him. “You know, the true test of someone’s character is how they behave under fire. And we had one president who couldn’t climb a flight of stairs and another who was fist-pumping after getting shot,” Musk said, drawing applause from the audience.

Trump also spoke at the rally, stressing the importance of a strong military, secure borders, and quality education. “We have to have a fabulous military to protect us from evil, everything has to be the best.

We have to have the best schools. We have to have strong borders. We don’t want bad people coming in and hurting us,” Trump said. He added confidently, "We are going to win the greatest election in the history of our country. Maybe the greatest election of all time."

Musk, who owns the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), has recently grown closer to Trump, both publicly and behind the scenes. He created a super PAC supporting Trump, focused on get-out-the-vote efforts in key battleground states.

During the rally, Musk painted a picture of a future where Americans' rights are at risk, saying, "The other side wants to take away your freedom of speech... your right to bear arms... your right to vote, effectively."

In August, the Trump and Musk had an in-depth public conversation on X, where Musk proposed a "government efficiency commission" if Trump is re-elected.
