Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to concede the 2024 presidential defeat to Donald Trump in the early hours of Thursday (4 pm ET/2 30 am local time ), according to media reports quoting sources. President Joe Biden also plans to call the president-elect and is expected to speak publicly about the election outcome.
According to NBC, Vice President Harris is set to address the nation and her supporters at Howard University in Washington, D.C, where she graduated.

"We still have votes to count. We still have states that have not been called yet. We will continue overnight to try to make sure that every vote is counted, that every voice has spoken," Kamala Harris' campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond was quoted as telling.
"So you won't hear from the vice president tonight. But you will hear from her tomorrow, because she will be back here tomorrow to address not only the HU family, not only to address her supporters, but to address the nation."
