Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump received cheers of “USA” from a large crowd as he arrived at the Alabama vs Georgia football game on Sunday. The event took place in the concourse of Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Trump advisor Dan Scavino Jr, on social media platform X, shared a video of the former president tossing boxes of popcorn to supporters, who chanted “USA” behind a steel gate. American musician Kid Rock , known for supporting Trump, was also present near the action.

During the game, Trump could be seen standing in a luxury box as a guest of team boosters.

Alabama won the game 41-34, quickly taking a 28-7 lead.

Earlier, Trump delivered a campaign speech in Wisconsin , criticising Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris . He wrote on Truth Social before arriving at the game, “Left Wisconsin, where illegal migrants are causing havoc. I’ll take care of that situation, and fast! Just arrived in Alabama for a big game with Georgia. Will be GREAT!!!”

Trump also said, “Kamala’s illegal migrants. It’s the biggest crime story of our time. She should resign or be IMPEACHED!”

Harris’s campaign responded by airing an ad during the game, challenging Trump to a second presidential debate. The ad said, “Winners never back down from a challenge. Champions know it’s anytime, anyplace.”

A plane hired by Harris's campaign to trail a banner reading “Trump’s Punting on 2nd Debate” over the stadium was not cleared to fly due to weather conditions, according to the Washington Post.
