Mysuru MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar has called for Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to resign and face investigation regarding recent allegations of corruption.
Addressing presspersons in Shivamogga, Yaduveer emphasized that the Chief Minister holds an influential position, which could affect the investigation process.
“It is clear that a scam has taken place. As long as Siddaramaiah remains in the Chief Minister’s chair, a proper investigation cannot be conducted. Hence, he should step down from the position and allow the investigation to proceed without interference,” Yaduveer stated.
Additionally, Yaduveer highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of establishing cooperative societies in every gram panchayat across the country.
Addressing another matter of local pride, Yaduveer expressed his commitment to safeguarding the Visvesvaraya Iron and Steel Plant (VISL), a legacy institution cherished by Kannadigas.
“We will continue our efforts to ensure the survival and success of VISL,” he affirmed.
