GATE 2025 Registration: Date extended to apply for GATE 2025, now apply from gate2025.iitr.ac.in till this date..

GATE 2025 Registration: The last date to apply for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 has been extended. Interested and eligible candidates who have not yet applied for these posts can now apply till 3 October. For this, candidates can register online for GATE 2025 through the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in. GATE is an entrance exam for admission to master's and doctoral programs and recruitment by some public sector undertakings.

Many public sector undertakings including Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) and Grid Controller of India Limited (GRID-INDIA) use GATE 2025 results to recruit candidates. While GATE 2025 results for Civil Engineering (CE), Chemical Engineering (CH), Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC), Electrical Engineering (EE), Instrumentation Engineering (IN), and Mechanical Engineering (ME) papers will be used for recruitment in NPCIL, results for Electrical Engineering (EE) paper will be used for recruitment in GRID-INDIA.

A valid GATE 2025 score can also be used for admission to several programs. These include master's programs and direct doctoral programs in engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, arts or humanities, and doctoral programs in relevant branches of engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, arts or humanities in institutions supported by the Ministry of Education and other government agencies.

For the first time, the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering (BSBE) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Kanpur) will admit MTech students through the GATE 2025 exam. The GATE 2025 exam will be held on weekends on February 1, 2, 15, and 16.
