Recently, a video of Naga women sadhus was going viral on social media in which they were seen without clothes. In the video, it can be seen that the female Naga sadhu is seen roaming around without clothes with mud on the whole body. People were staring at her. Then some female policemen catch her and make her bathe and wear clothes. At another place, it can be seen that the female Naga sadhu is worshiping without clothes. In such a situation, many people will have a question in their mind that what do these Naga women sadhus do during periods?

How do they live during their periods?

Female Naga Sadhus are not easily seen anywhere and are rarely seen in front of people. They remain engrossed in their penance in solitude, but now Maha Kumbh is going to be held in Prayagraj, so they will also be seen in large numbers there. Actually, female Naga Sadhus do not remain naked but wear saffron colored clothes. This dress is unstitched, so they do not face any problem during their periods. Male Naga Sadhus are allowed to remain naked in public places but women are not.

When women take initiation and become Naga Sadhus, they have to wear clothes. They also apply Tilak on their forehead. Before becoming a Naga Sadhu, a woman has to follow celibacy for 6 to 12 years.
