Power Outage Alert: 7-Hour Shutdown on Madri Road, Udaipur, for Essential Maintenance

Udaipur, November 6, 2024 Residents and industrial units in the Madri Road area of Udaipur are bracing for a full-day tomorrow. According to the Assistant Engineer (HTM), a critical maintenance shutdown has been scheduled at the Madri Road No. 5 Power House on November 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The necessary work aims to strengthen the infrastructure but will result in a seven-hour disruption in electricity flow across a vast stretch of the region.

Areas and Feeders Affected by the Outage

This shutdown will halt power in numerous areas connected to multiple feeders, including MIA Feeders No. 1, 2, 3, 4, Kanpur Feeder, and Bedwas Feeder, along with 33 kV Chauksi and 33 kV Plasti Weave Industries feeders. Residents and industries in the affected zones will experience a temporary blackout, impacting both daily lives and business operations.

The industries and institutions impacted by this extensive outage include prominent names such as Adarsh Gas, Continental Glass, A.K. Enterprises, Lipi Data, Tempson I and II, Apex, Chauksi, Wolkem, Sadhna Ayurvedic, JK Lakshmi, Sisodia, SBI Bank Lane, Singhi Chemicals, Pyrotech 3, Rajesh Motors, Malviya Mineral, KK Mineral, Renuka Mineral, Rishabh Mineral, Khandari, Jain Dal & Rice Mill, Agrawal Roller, APJ, Parshwanath Mineral, Ashoka Poly Art, Parakasa, Gurupreet Mineral, Shiv Talk, Royal Poly Container, and Texchem.

Additionally, several residential and commercial sectors, including Kanpur Kheda, Kharbariya Road, Bedwas Area, Spell Fashion, Patel Ice, Jhallari Valley, Rakda, areas around Reliance, JB Engineering, Parle, Raj Traders, Ramesh Tejwani, Shriram Finance, Sheela Jain, and the industrial areas behind Reliance, will also be without power for the day.
