So, it seems that HMD Moon Knight is in the works. Rumors of the codename have surfaced online, accompanied by a few expected key features. A tipster has put forth the name of the alleged phone along with its model number and some key specs like chipset, camera and display. The other details, including the possible build and design element of the rumored model, have surfaced as well. Although HMD recently launched its Skyline smartphone in India, it has yet to offer official confirmation for this handset.

HMD Moon Knight Specifications (Rumored)

According to the account HMD_MEME’S (@smashx_60), the company HMD is said to be working on a new smartphone named “Moon Knight.” It has been reportedly captured in a leaked image carrying the model number TA-1691. The same leak further claims the rumoured smartphone will come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.

Based on the leak, there are claims that the HMD Moon Knight phone could have a pOLED full-HD+ screen featuring 144Hz refresh rate. The phone may boast a quad rear camera setup. It is likely to arrive with an aluminum frame and 5G connectivity support on board. The smartphone might accommodate a dual speaker unit in it.

HMD Moon Knight may feature POGO pins. This would make a person think that the phone design will be similar to HMD Fusion, which HMD previously made public during this year’s IFA 2024 earlier this month. That design is said to support customizable accessories that might possibly add extra functionalities.

The HMD Fusion particularly comes backed by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, and it carries an IP52-rated build for dust and splash resistance. The phone sports a 6.56-inch 90Hz HD+ screen, 108-megapixel dual rear camera unit, a 50-megapixel selfie shooter, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W wired fast charging. The phone begins from at EUR 249, about Rs. 24,000.
