Honor Magic 7 series spotted on 3C certification, features five models

The Honor Magic 6 series has, according to reports, been released in China earlier this year, in January. These two phones – Honor Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro are on the market. Honor also appears to be working on the Magic 7 lineup as a total of five devices from the lineup were certified on China’s 3C platform. Among these, apart from the regular models, other devices could be the special edition ones which Honor usually launches.

The Honor Magic 7 series emerged at 3C
  • Five new phones from Honor show up at the 3C website under model numbers PTP-AN20, PTP-AN60, PTP-AN00, PTP-AN70, and PTP-AN10.
  • Apparently, these are new members of the Honor Magic 7 series. At least that comes out of a report from GizmoChina.
  • The 3C listing confirms that the Honor Magic 7 series will have 100W wired charging support. Additionally, the list shows two models which have been noticed to have satellite connectivity support. These might be Magic 7 Pro and Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design.
  • The other three models listed are said to be the Honor Magic 7, Magic 7 Pro, and Magic 7 Ultimate.
Honor Magic 7 series: what to expect

With so little known about the Honor Magic 7 series, even though there is a report claiming it will drop in October in China, this places the launch as relatively early on the scale, as Honor Magic 6 phones showed up in January. And apparently, the new Honor Magic 7 phones also rely on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, joining the growing line of flagships planned for launch very soon.

Recently, an Honor Magic 7 Pro live image appeared online. The same pill-shaped notch, but instead of the Magic 6 Pro curved screen, we have a flat display. According to this leak, Honor follows the Vivo trail for the X200 series and develops its Magic 7 series, based on a flat display and edges.

So far, Honor hasn’t teased or announced the Magic 7 series. With the expected launch in October, we might start hearing something from the brand soon, though.
