Udaipur : In a disturbing incident in Udaipur, a foreign woman was reportedly shot in the chest early Saturday morning. Three men brought the severely injured woman to Pacific Hospital in Bhilon ka Bedla on Gogunda Highway and then vanished. The hospital, sensing the suspicious nature of the case, quickly referred her to Maharana Bhupal (MB) Hospital for advanced treatment. The woman, identified as Thogkot and a native of Thailand, had been staying at Hotel Veer Palace in Udaipol.

Sequence of Events Leading to the Incident

According to police investigations, Thogkot left her hotel around 1:30 AM on Friday night, just after dining with her friend at around 8:30 PM. She stepped out of the hotel alone and was seen departing in a taxi at 1:31 AM. The reasons behind her late-night exit remain unknown.

She was later brought to Pacific Hospital by three unidentified men who promptly fled the scene after admitting her. The hospital, suspecting something unusual, referred her to MB Hospital for immediate medical attention. Police have not yet determined the exact location where the shooting took place or the reason behind it, and are investigating to trace the men who dropped her at the hospital.

Police Investigation and Ongoing Efforts

The Udaipur police have launched a detailed investigation into the case. Officers visited both the hospital and the hotel, meticulously reviewing CCTV footage to track Thogkot’s movements. While the footage confirmed her departure in a taxi, no further details on her activities afterward have emerged.
