  • School Leaders: Principals, vice-principals, and school directors.
  • Teachers: All qualified educators currently employed in private schools across Ras Al Khaimah.
  • The Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge (RAK DOK) will oversee the application process, ensuring a streamlined experience for applicants.

    Eligibility Criteria

    To qualify, educators must meet the following conditions:

    • Residency: A minimum of three years living and working in Ras Al Khaimah.
    • Educational Qualification: An advanced degree (master’s or PhD), with equivalency certification if earned outside the UAE.
    • Positive Contributions: Demonstrated efforts to enhance school performance.
    School Leaders:
    • Evidence of improving school ratings (e.g., from ‘acceptable’ to ‘good’).
    • Endorsement letter from the school’s board of governors highlighting exceptional contributions.

    Eligible educators need to submit:

    • An official appointment letter from the Ministry of Education (MoE) or RAK DOK.
    • Proof of residency and employment in Ras Al Khaimah.
    • Documentation of qualifications and contributions to school performance.

    Once submitted, the RAK DOK will review applications within two weeks and confirm eligibility. Successful applicants can then proceed to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) for visa processing.
