OPPO Find X8 pops up on BIS, SDPPI sites; software features, wireless charging revealed separately

OPPO Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, the flagship series, is expected to soon launch in China. The company hasn’t yet announced the official launch date of the series, but the vanilla variant has now appeared on the BIS certification site, which suggests it will be coming to India. the OPPO Find X8 Pro is already reported to come to India.

Along with that, the smartphone has been caught on Indonesia’s SDPPI certification. The company has also come out with some of its software features and information related to wireless charging. The OPPO Find X8 series will replace the Find X7 series.

OPPO Find X8 BIS, SDPPI certification details

TheTechOutlook reports that the upcoming OPPO Find X8 has now surfaced on the certification websites of BIS and SDPPI and comes with the model number CPH2651. This gives us a hint about its Indian and Indonesian on-sale date but does not go beyond it in revealing features or specifications.

OPPO Find X8 software features, wireless charging details

Because of Weibo, an executive has published information about two concrete security features of the upcoming OPPO Find X8. These are including an IR blaster and an NFC smart card cutting.

Importantly, with the IR blaster, users will now be able to manage any appliance through infrared signals using their smartphones. The smart card cutting feature through NFC will help them access their cards without any disruption, as it will be seamless on NFC-enabled cards.

With this feature, the representative explains, the user can seamlessly switch between multiple NFC-enabled access cards across various locations. He also disclosed that the OPPO Find X8 would support 50W wireless charging and reverse charging.

OPPO Find X8 specs: what is expected

• Display: The OPPO Find X8 would likely be accompanied by a 6.5-inch flat screen, smaller compared to its counterpart Find X7, with a 1.5K+ resolution for an excellent display.
• Chipset: OPPO Find X8 is confirmed to be launched with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, which is also coming for the Pro variant.
• RAM: From the Gekbench listing, we can find that OPPO Find X8 should offer up to 16GB of RAM.
• Cameras: The Find X8 will feature three 50MP sensors on the back panel. This latest smartphone is rumoured to come with a 32MP front camera.
• This is said to launch with an improved battery compared to the OPPO Find X7, with that carrying a 5,000mAh battery. On the charging side of things, it is said to pack in both 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
