Recognizing Excellence through Mewar’s Esteemed Awards

Each award reflects a facet of Mewar’s rich history, honoring individuals whose achievements echo the values of bravery, honor, and service.

Bhamashah Award

Named after the legendary Bhamashah, who sacrificed for Mewar’s sovereignty, the Bhamashah Award recognizes students from Rajasthan’s universities and Rajasthani students studying outside the state who have completed a bachelor’s degree or diploma in 2023-24. This award is an ode to Bhamashah’s loyalty and valor in supporting Mewar, symbolizing the courage and dedication that this legendary figure embodied.

Maharana Raj Singh Award

Students excelling in sports, academics, and co-curricular activities in Udaipur’s universities and colleges are eligible to apply for the Maharana Raj Singh Award. Maharana Raj Singh I, the 58th ruler of Mewar, is celebrated for his independence and integrity, notably standing up against Mughal ruler Aurangzeb by offering sanctuary to revered deities in Mewar. This award upholds his legacy of defiance and dedication to dharma, honoring students whose achievements resonate with the same spirit of courage and excellence.

Maharana Fateh Singh Award

The Maharana Fateh Singh Award celebrates students from Udaipur schools who have demonstrated academic excellence by scoring high in their 10th or 12th-grade examinations in 2023-24. It also includes students who achieved remarkable success in sports or other extracurricular activities. Maharana Fateh Singh, known for his philanthropy and unwavering pride in his heritage, is remembered for his selfless contributions toward promoting education, including donations to Banaras Hindu University and Mayo College.

Encouraging Mewar’s Youth to Embody the Spirit of Its Heritage
